MY REFLECTION
My poster is representing a Passion Pit tour. Passion Pit is a solo artist in recording, and a band during live performances. Passion Pit's music falls under the genres electropop, alternative pop, synth-pop, and indie pop. Part of their aesthetic in the past has consisted of bright colors, geometric shapes, and abstraction. I wanted to represent that with trees drawn with a touch of abstractness, and making the leaves shapes themselves. I didn't want the poster to be hard on the eyes, so I made the background this muted color to draw attention to the shapes and even out the colors, though I do wish I experimented a bit more with the colors. I think the poster turned out alright. The flyer was very rushed, but it's also very simple, so it doesn't look terrible. The two are tied together by color scheme. I used all of the colors from the poster on the flyer.
