MY REFLECTION
My zine's theme was song lyrics, specifically song lyrics/pictures regarding nature and life. I liked my idea, but not the execution. I listen to a lot of music that often draw metaphors from nature, so that's how I got the idea of this theme. I dislike how it turned out though, Some of the patterns I drew look odd in their placement. I could've done better with that. I also could've drawn in a font rather than my handwriting, and it would've looked more neat. I regret not playing around with the text. I'd have liked to have less white space, but with how I organized my text caused issues with that. Some of my lyric choices, such as the first page and the fifth page, I especially enjoyed. My favorite picture was the sunset picture on the first page. I think this project was okay, but it definitely won't be my favorite.
